  Nadia Dajani a unique Arab Jewelry talents

Jordanian jewelry designer, Nadia Dajani, has an engineering bachelor degree from London ad started her designing job bu designing for a British company and she returned to her hometown toe establish a jewelry here. Within no time, Nadia shoot to fame to become one of the leading jewelry designers in the world.

As an Arab artist, I intended to bring to light the culturally-rich history of Jordan through my art and designs. It is an utmost honor to be the Jordanian participant in such a monumental event, and have the chance to exhibit the 'Made in Jordan' designs here, she said.

Nadia collections includes rings, necklaces, and earrings, was made of the exquisite basalt, a black/grey-colored volcanic rock found widely in eastern Jordan around Azraq City and above Dana Village where it occurs as a result of volcanic action. The stone is hand cut into various shapes, drilled and made into beads, which in turn are incorporated with silver as well as copper motifs to create jewellery pieces.
She has been selected among the top ten Arab jewelry designers as part of Gulf television channel Rotana's 'Top Ten' program.

The program, which aims to gather a comprehensive archive of Arab accomplishments and creations and to present it in a top-ten bouquet, has deigned to dedicate an entire episode to Arab jewelry designers.
In commemoration of Dajani's unique talent, the channel aired a brief about Dajani during which they detailed how the Jordanian designer excelled in the world of jewelry-making, creating one distinctive collection after another in blending tradition with modernity, influenced by the ancient arts of calligraphy and natural handcrafting.

Dajani's various collections were showcased during the brief, detailing the deep creativity and attention to detail that interpenetrate the different stages of their creation, from design to production to exhibition.
Dajani expressed her joy at the occasion, saying: 'It is a great honour for me and a great appreciation of my works to be among the top ten Arab jewelry designers and if it proves one thing it proves the presence of innumerable connoisseurs out there who value real and creative high art. I would like to express my thanks to all those who place their trust in me and appreciate my work.'
